Bad Helmet Day

On most Saturdays, Lionel and I usually hang out with our friends, or go out, watch a movie, chill out at Starbucks or something.

Today however, we decided to spend our Saturday afternoon shopping for Open Face Helmets because we need to use them for an upcoming event. So, we headed to the usual motorcycle shops that we always frequent.

At first, we were in high spirits as we glanced through the different brands of Open Face Helmets. There were so many to choose from - different colors, different sizes and different designs!

But as we tried out some of the helmets that were within our budget, we were disappointed. We just couldn't find a helmet that we both like and could fit both our heads!

Two hours quickly past and we ended up frustrated and tired. In the end, we bought helmets of different brands and design because the helmet that we both like couldn't fit my tiny head. (I even tried XXS mind you!)

Sigh, it was one of those unpleasant shopping experiences which could definitely be better if there were XXXS helmets, or .. if my head grew a little bigger.

Well, thankfully these Open Face Helmets will not be our primary helmets. Lionel is thinking of getting of something else, but till then, I guess it's back to using my HJC FG 15 Full Face Helmet!
